Savoury Waffles with Fresh Salsa
Delicious for breakfast, lunch or dinner
1 ¼ cup Tio Pablo Masa Harina Corn Mix
½ cup rice flour
1 Tbl Tio Pable Red Chilpotle Salt
1 tsp coarse black pepper
55g butter, melted
3 eggs, whisked
1 tsp agave syrup
2 cups milk
2 Tbl La Morena Chipotle Sauce
1 avocado, diced
1 tomato, diced
1 radish, diced
½ cup fresh coriander, chopped
2 slices La Morena Green Jalapeño (Raja Verde)
Squeeze of lemon
Salt and pepper to taste


In a large bowl, mix together the masa harina, rice flour, red salt and coarse black pepper.

In a medium-sized bowl, mix together the butter, eggs, agave, milk and Chipotle Sauce.

Add the wet mixture into the dry and mix all through thoroughly. Add a dash of extra milk if too thick. Let sit for about 5 minutes.

In another medium-sized bowl, add all of the salsa ingredients and loosely stir through.

Heat waffle maker and spread a dollop of batter into each slotted area. Cook until crispy and top with salsa. Add a splash of Tio Pablo Salsa Picante de Piña for more spicy kick.
